Barossa Pilates Retreat 2018!

What an amazing weekend in my backyard with some awesome pilates people! Beginning on Friday afternoon with a light walk along the Angaston-Nuriootpa walking path, making a stop at Barossa Gin Distillery for a "refreshment". Then to Z Wines in Tanunda for a Wine & food flight experience whilst listening to the incredible talented Erin Jae (and only 16 years old!). Then a couple of sharing plates at Musque Food and Wine next door. Saturday morning began with a Yoga and Meditation session with Jess Loan at her studio on Bethany Road. This was just what we all needed. Informative, with some balancing and strength challenges, a good amount of stretch and ending in a gorgeous meditation. Wow - thank you Jess, just incredible. Onto the Bean Addiction for a delicious coffee, then a personal viewing of the Sunshine Barossa Australia show room for a spot of shopping I don't mind saying. After a stop at Vasse Virgin in Seppeltsfield, we went onto a long lunch at Harvest Kitchen. Thank you Pete - we had such a fabulous time and the food was not only sensational, also nutritious.

A good walk along the path (close access to the Barossa Retro BnB where we were staying) followed by some floor work was in order at this time, and an early, relaxing night.

Sunday morning and we headed to Pilates by Kate in Nuriootpa for our studio session, and a little "hanging around". Kate, thank you for your time and sharing your Polestar Pilates experiences also. So much fun.

A farewell at Fleur Social in Nuriootpa with a coffee was a fitting end to a fabulous weekend with kindred Pilates peeps.

Jealous anyone? You should be!!
